Abstract
The Keys to Success: Lessons Learned
by Patricia Obach Dejean
Thriving and succeeding in orthodontic practice requires rigorous planning of one's journey to excellence : developing one's skills, accepting and adapting to new technologies for the benefit of our patients. Adult orthodontics has evolved a lot over many years, between lingual orthodontics and aligners, we can offer our patients an aesthetic but also invisible orthodontics. Our treatment goals must remain rigorous, not limited to dental alignment, but to solve complex functional and aesthetic problems by taking into account the specific needs of each patient. Fully customized lingual orthodontic systems can treat all malocclusions, whether dental or skeletal, they are precise and provide many biomechanical benefits. We will demonstrate through the presentation of complex ortho-surgical cases treated with lingual technique how through the acquisition of experience and knowledge it has been possible to carry out these treatments in a simple, effective and fast way in a daily practice.
